One man limited companies working in Norway need to register with the Norwegian tax authorities.
Conventionally you should be exempt from Norwegian national insurance for the first year. Thereafter, you have to pay both Employers and Employees NI in Norway. The rates are only a couple of percentage points higher than in the UK, and the Norwegian State Pension is startlingly attractive. Norwegian PAYE has to be calculated bi-monthly on 75% of your fee income. At the year-end a reconciliation takes place in the same way that the P35/P60 wraps up UK payroll.
We can:-
- Register you in Norway
- Apply for a dispensation from Norwegian Corporation Tax
- Obtain an E101 exempting you from Norwegian NI for twelve months
- Compute your bi-monthly payroll tax in Norway
- Compute the parallel UK NI on this income
- Complete the year end PAYE returns
- Prepare your personal tax return in Norway
