The changing climate will give rise to population moves on a scale never seen before. There will be conflict over the best places to shelter from a stormy planet.
The higher ground in the UK looks like a Goldilocks environment (not too hot and not too cold) by 2050.
I’m taken by the playground notion that we’re ok because we were here first. To maintain that stance requires robust defence.
Consequently military spending is increasing as a share of GDP in the developed world.
Sadly it seems inevitable that wars will be triggered by climate change.
